The Campus

A range of lab and office accommodation with an outstanding range of amenities for your employees

SBC provides over 1.6 million sq ft of lettable and pipeline state-of-the-art laboratory, office and shared space.

The campus includes 232,000 sq.ft. / 21,554 sq.m. net across the Incubator, Accelerator and Spark buildings, and the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult.

There is also 1.6 million sq. ft of lab, office and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facilities in the pipeline, with the development of Elevate Quarter underway, a £900m life science campus being developed by UBS Asset Management and Reef Group.

All organisations joining the campus are selected to have a focus on research and development of products and technologies that are relevant to the therapeutics industry, combined with a strong team, IP portfolio and a collaborative approach.

Designed to support early stage ventures, the building is divided into lab and office units of 250 sq ft, 500 sq ft and 1,000 sq ft.

Collaborative office spaces available to rent by the desk. There is space for up to 12 businesses, and leases include the cost of electricity, a workstation area, wifi and IT services. Businesses also have access to SBC meeting rooms, the Atrium coffee station and networking events. Find out more here.

Great working environment

The campus offers occupiers excellent amenities including a café and restaurant plus fully-equipped conferencing and meeting room facilities.

The Waterfront café provides hot/cold drinks and a range of snacks. It is the ideal location for informal meetings in a relaxed setting. Located within the GSK reception building the café is open to all.

The main campus restaurant serves a range of hot and cold meals, snacks and with “grab-and-go” service for when you are in a rush. Located within the GSK reception building the restaurant is open to all. A lunchtime catering service is available in the Incubator and Accelerator buildings, and catering can be arranged for meetings upon request.

There is a range of conferencing facilities, board and meeting rooms for formal meetings complemented by shared social interaction areas for more informal meetings.
