The Catalyser programme helps companies innovating in human health refine their commercialisation strategy
through a journey involving the analysis of 9 meso-economic vectors from the Triple Chasm framework

From the programme, the selected companies will gain:

  • a refined commercialisation strategy
  • a clear execution plan
  • access to experts, potential partners and investors

The 6 highly-interactive sessions cover the strategy vectors:

  • Market Space Definition
  • Proposition Framing + Customer Definition
  • Tech Management + IP Management
  • Product Synthesis + Human Capital
  • Funding Strategy + Strategic Positioning
  • Final Presentations and Feedback

Each session includes:

  • review of each startup strategy on previous vector
  • presentation of Triple Chasm framework for the current vector
  • introduction to Triple Chasm tools to help project the theory onto each startup case
  • panel discussion with 3 industry experts to help understand real world scenarios and trend

The programme includes:

  • 6 highly-interactive sessions to cover 8 strategy vectors
  • A set of 25 strategy-profiling tools to design your path to success
  • 5 panel discussions featuring 15+ industry leaders
  • Access to the SBC community, including a world class team of mentors and experts, investors and partners

Who you are

  • You are developing innovations for the benefit of human health
  • You are en route to building a first proof of concept
  • You have integrated digital and data technologies (ie ML/AI) in your R&D workflow, or you are planning to integrate them
  • You have an existing presence in the UK, or you are planning to establish a presence in the UK
  • You have an ambitious leadership team of at least 2-3 that can commit to full participation in the programme

Who we are

  • Campus of 45+ therapeutics companies and largest cluster of CGT companies in Europe
  • Companies based at SBC have raised more than £3.6bn since SBC’s birth in 2012, including 8 exits
  • Our campus also includes GSK, LifeArc, CGTC and Cytiva
  • We provide lab space, office space and business development support to our occupiers
  • Our Lab Hotel provides free lab-space for 6 months to 7 selected early-stage companies
