Since 2012, businesses based at SBC have attracted over £3.6bn in equity investment, IPO/FPO, grants and acquisitions and received £181m in grant funding. Of the total, over 72% has been in companies with a focus on cell and gene technologies.

Training
Informal and Formal Mentoring:
We offer informal mentoring such as CEO Roundtables for peer-to-peer support in an informal setting to share experiences and advice. Formal mentoring is available in the form of accelerator programmes, expert speakers, specialist workshops such as pitch presentation sessions.
Catalyser Accelerator Programme
A free six-session accelerator for health innovators who want to refine their commercial strategy. It runs in partnership with Triple Chasm, and businesses who enroll have an opportunity to connect with industry experts such as investors, IP lawyers and other CEOs. Experts leading the programme act as ‘critical friends’ along the various stages of the innovation pipeline.
