Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult Manufacturing Centre
The £60 million Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult Manufacturing Centre opened in April 2018 and has 12 collaborator units. The world-leading centre enables the development, scale-up and commercialisation of cell and gene therapies. The facility provides collaborators from SMEs to multinationals with the equipment, specialists and supply chain to fast track cell and gene therapies to the patients who need them.
Specialist pharma advice
SBC occupiers have access to a large number of highly experienced professionals who have a proven track record of bringing compounds from discovery through to launch and who are seeking to identify potential areas of partnership.
Advice is available on a non-confidential basis from GSK and other large pharmaceutical companies who regularly hot desk on campus.

Senior researchers based at GSK are matched with individual companies to provide scientific and business advice on a non-confidential basis.
