On demand free service: Legal Surgery by VWV

  • Tuesday, 17 January 2023, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

We are delighted to welcome back Paul Gershlick to come to visit SBC and provide a free Legal Surgery in the collaboration space on the ground floor at 10am to midday on Tuesday 17 January.

Just a reminder - as Paul has not been around since before the pandemic hit - he is a Partner at the law firm, VWV. VWV has about 500 people across four offices, one of which is in Hertfordshire. VWV has specialists in many areas of law - commercial (Ts & Cs and other commercial agreements, IP licences and data protection), corporate (including investment rounds, and M&A), employment (including immigration), property (leases, planning, construction), disputes and more.

VWV also has focus on particular sectors, notably Life Sciences, Technology, Early Stage Companies/Start-Ups, Higher Education and Charities. Paul leads the Pharma and Life Sciences sector, but also gets involved in those other sectors.

At the Legal Surgery, Paul and his colleague Jonathan Bywater will be available for 30 minute slots and you can book here or by contacting Paul, otherwise SBC tenants can just drop in and see if Paul is available. The clock will not be running, so please make use of the free time to bounce your thoughts off Paul and to pick his legal brain! Or just come and say hello and introduce yourself and make a contact.

As we have agreed that Paul will provide this service to you free of charge, it is on a 'no obligation' basis and you can expect some disclaimers to apply to the session. If you make decisions that can have legal implications for you or your business, you are recommended to take formal professional advice and not to rely on this short consultation alone. If you choose to use VWV, Paul can discuss with you how you can take things further.

Please also be aware that some aspects discussed may be outside Paul’s own area of specialism. If this is the case, he will let you know, although he will still seek to provide useful guidance based on his own commercial experience.

Location: SBC atrium + Virtual
