Eight Start-Ups Arrive for Catalyser 2024 Kick Off
Catalyser 2024 got off to a fantastic start as SBC welcomed eight start-up businesses to take part in the accelerator now into its third year.
SBC’s Entrepreneurship and Business Development Director, Marco Delise PhD, opened the programme with an overview on Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst and how Catalyser will help each business develop a leading commercial strategy.
The early-stage companies then took turns to introduce their businesses and network with the 2024 cohort that will become a supportive community for all participants over the six-week programme and beyond.
Triple Chasm leaders, Dr Uday Phadke CEO, and Sam Dods, COO, led a compelling talk on the programme’s commercialisation framework, with start-ups being taken through their first strategy session ‘Market Space Definition’.
An interactive Q&A to discuss trends in medical market spaces followed, with Marco Delise as moderator for panellists Dr Peter Feldman, Director of Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare at Queen’s House Consulting, Dr Kirsten Papenfuss, Director Pharma at Deep Science Ventures and Dr Stephen Walker, Vice President of Clinical Development at Syneos Health.
Marco Delise PhD, said:
“We are excited to be working with a new cohort of eight startups in the medical sector. I can’t wait to see the progress as they journey through our accelerator!”
