Welcome Plurify to the Lab Hotel!
We’re delighted to welcome Plurify to our Lab Hotel! Purify are a start-up born out of Deep Science Ventures and Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, to solve the purification challenges in stem cell therapies.
Having been part of the SBC Catalyser programme in 2023, Plurify was then attracted by the quality of the SBC support and the six months of free lab space available on site for therapeutics companies.
Plurify CEO Djordje Djordjevic, PhD, says:
“SBC Catalyser accelerator in 2023 was instrumental in shaping our commercialisation strategy, and attracted us to the Lab Hotel offering for start-ups.
We are excited to be joining the world-class hub of cell and gene therapy based here in Stevenage and benefitting from all the excellent amenities – free lab space, free access to specialist shared facilities and of course joining a collaborative science community where we can network with other like-minded businesses.
We hope our research and development will benefit the next generation of cell therapies, making them safer, more accessible, and available sooner for all patients who need them.”
Marco Delise, Director of Entrepreneurship and Business Development says:
“We are pleased that Plurify are joining us in the Lab Hotel, and to see evidence of how impactful the Catalyser programme is in terms of connecting biotech communities and helping businesses create effective commercial plans to deliver the science behind their R&D.”
