Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst (SBC) has been awarded Best Sustainable Ecosystem Delivery of the Year at the One Nucleus Awards 2026, recognising its commitment to environmental sustainability, social value and community impact across its life sciences campus.

The award reflects SBC’s integrated approach to sustainability, bringing together low-carbon infrastructure, inclusive community programmes and accessible pathways into the life sciences sector.

Andrew Waters, Interim CEO of Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, said:
“We are incredibly proud to receive this award. It reflects the collective effort of our team and the wider campus community to build an environment that supports both scientific innovation and meaningful social and environmental impact.
From reducing barriers for early-stage companies to creating opportunities for young people locally, our focus is on ensuring that innovation translates into real-world benefit. We are grateful to the One Nucleus judging panel for recognising that work.
