SBC Partners with The Research and Development Society to drive survey responses for mapping project aiming to advance commercialisation of UK life science products
SBC along with Bruntwood SciTech and Health Innovation West of England, are partnering with The Research & Development Society, and are excited to announce a new programme focused on advancing the effective commercialisation of UK life science products to enhance global healthcare (including the NHS and beyond).
The programme will develop a comprehensive mapping of the current state of UK life sciences SMEs, beginning with a focus around three regional clusters in Stevenage (and the wider ‘Golden Triangle’), Greater Manchester and the West of England (Starting with Bristol and the surrounding authorities). Analysis will feed into a series of workshops to identify the priority issues in UK life science commercialisation and to define and recommend a set of high impact solutions to increase the success rate of commercial ventures in this space.
Over the coming weeks we will be collecting and analysing data from across the country and kicking off the series in late May across a number of closed Campus based workshops. The first of which will be held at SBC on 20 May.
Should you like to be involved in facilitating data collection in your own cluster or wish to engage with our workshops please contact jamie.phadke@rdsoc.org, with an explanation of your interest in this initiative and what you feel you can bring to the conversation.
We would be very grateful if you could take the time to complete the survey. All responses will be rewarded with a box of chocolates gifted as a thank you for your time (approximately 20 minutes) which can be collected from the SBC office in the Incubator Building.
