Regulatory: Completed MHRA Scientific Advisory Meeting on Derm1 (NG12-2) Prevention of Radiodermatitis Clinical Study Design and Approval Path

VasoDynamics Ltd, the pharmaceutical company developing patient-friendly cost-effective therapies for the prevention/reduction of debilitating side-effects induced by anti-cancer treatments, has completed a successful Scientific Advisory meeting with UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) on 10th June 2026 for Derm1 (NG12-2) to prevent/reduce radiodermatitis. The meeting discussed the planned Phase-3 clinical study design, provided advice on the clinical development plan, and confirmed the market approval path of the innovative dermal topical medicine Derm1 (NG12-2) for the prevention of radiodermatitis in patients undergoing radiotherapy on their head and neck area. The formal written response is expected in July 2026.

To date, VasoDynamics has completed the Scientific Advice meetings on all three of the topical vasoconstriction products currently in the late clinical stage, including Muc1(NG11-2) for the prevention of Radiation-Induced Oral Mucositis, Derm1 (NG12-2) for the prevention of Radiodermatitis, and Derm2 (NG13-2) for the prevention of Chemotherapy-Induced Alopecia.
