Talent Partner  (12 Month FTC )

Based in Stevenage with a flexible approach to working in the Central London office as and when required.

LifeArc is a medical research charity with a 25-year legacy of helping scientists and organisations turn their research into treatments and diagnostics for patients. We are pioneering new ways to turn great science into greater patient impact at LifeArc. We do this by bringing together a network of partners to tackle specific diseases and by funding academic and early stage research.

Job Summary

You will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies in partnership with People Partners and Hiring Managers, in order to attract and on-board talent through proactive recruitment activity.  By creating sourcing plans, screening and interviewing, pre-selecting, and offer management, including being responsible for the hiring administration process, you will help create a first-class candidate experience, in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop the employee referral scheme, maximizing opportunities to leverage employee knowledge & networks
  • Take the lead with all recruitment advertising.  Drive consistency, quality and influencing (cost) effectiveness of media spend
  • Evaluate existing recruitment frameworks
  • Manage on-line job boards, selecting and managing suppliers aligned with forecast, and measuring effectiveness
  • Lead on recruitment communication materials and collateral, ensuring high quality on-brand output, including offer packs, brochures and event support materials
  • Develop innovative channels to market and assesses the value of new sourcing tools
  • Support the implementation of student and apprentice recruitment strategy
  • Monitor vacancy pipeline
  • Establish Talent Pool and produce sourcing plans
  • Participate in all activities in the recruitment life cycle including sourcing planning, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management and hiring administration:
  • Produce insightful candidate reports, detailing benefits and concerns
  • Manage the offer process and preparing contracts
  • Support the People Partner Lead with recruitment projects.

  • You will have the ability to build lasting relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike
  • Someone who thinks outside the box, to help create a proactive approach to recruitment.


Your salary will be determined by qualifications and experience. In addition, LifeArc offers a defined contribution pension scheme, private health insurance, a flexible benefits scheme, 31 days paid holiday per year.
