Plasticell is a pioneering UK stem cell biotechnology company specialising in stem cell differentiation and the optimisation of cell/gene therapy manufacturing. We use a proprietary high-throughput combinatorial cell culture technology (CombiCult®) to develop superior stem cell differentiation protocols.

The company is engaged in several projects involving iPS, embryonic and adult stem cells, which are differentiated into a variety of cell types both for drug discovery and cell/gene therapy applications. Research Assistant position is now available. We are seeking highly motivated, productive, and organised research assistants to support existing research projects, some in collaboration with industrial partners. Candidates should have a BSc or MSc degree in cellular/molecular biology and experience in mammalian cell culture. Some experience in work with stem cells, immunostaining, qPCR, lentivirus, and flow cytometry would be an advantage, however expert training will be provided.

Above all we value scientific integrity, a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to integrate effectively in a highly driven international team. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with leading stem cell scientists and to gain experience in a wide range of cutting-edge techniques. In addition to an extremely stimulating work environment in proximity to both young biotech companies and big pharma, we offer a competitive salary and health care plans. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK must be provided.

Please send your CV with a covering letter to Lorna.Hubbard@plasticell.co.ukk
